Growing up reading romance, I fell in love with the promise of a happily-ever-after...
Guided meditation, dressing for my mood, dog walks, reading, listening to music, watching the birds in my backyard.
Writing small town romance, reading on the couch with my dog, in the gym, laughing with my Mr.
Toxic positivity, talking sh*t, being negative, doing things just because everyone else is.
Kind reality checks, sharing knowledge, dad jokes, the four day work week, abolishing greyhound racing.
In 2020 I started writing stories that I wanted to read: adventures with strong women in non-traditional jobs and the men determined to capture their hearts. I published six books under a pseudonym before starting to publish as Melanie Hepburn. I now write small town coastal romance novels full of character cameos and interconnected storylines that I hope will truly make you feel part of my world.
When I'm not writing, I love spending time with my rescued ex-racing greyhound, reading, and knitting (sometimes at the same time). It's a rare day when my nose isn't buried in a book at some point. Above all, I firmly believe everyone, no matter your past history, size, shape, or age, is worthy of a happily ever after.
And that it’s not a birthday without cake.
Everyone is worthy of a happily ever after, no matter their past history
I've always been a big reader. It was a way for me to escape when the world was less than kind, and when life was doing its best to turn me inside out. As a teenager I discovered romance and fell completely head over heels for the idea of living happily ever after with the one person who was your perfect match.

All heiress Charlie Sinclair wanted was her father's approval. Falling for the rugged wilderness guide standing in the way of her big break was not part of the plan.
